1. Project title: B.L.O.Gs ( Building up Learning Oriented – Groups ) in Europe

4. Objectives of the Project:

The Project aims:
- to develop communication skills through ICT;
- to promote inclusion through intercultural dialogue;
- to develop education tools to support inclusion and collaboration.

5. Main activities of the project:

The main activities of the project will be:
- creating a European students’ blog;
- creating a Comenius project link in English on the partner schools’ websites;
- introducing and presenting the students, schools and local areas in order to share information;
- creating and presenting materials focused on intercultural dialogue.

6. How will pupils / staff taking part in the project be actively involved in the activities at planning, implementation and evaluation stage?

Planning - students will learn how to create an international blog in English.
Implementation - students of each partner school will create the structure of a blog and then vote and choose the blog of the project and also a meaningful title for it;- students will introduce themselves and their school on the blog; they will focus on the theme of inclusion to find out if / how it is perceived and developed in their schools and communities;- school staff will help students improve their communicative skills and foster open-minded attitudes towards interculturality.
Evaluation - teachers will monitor the students’ ongoing activities on the blog in order to develop the European key- competences for lifelong learning.

7. Expected impact of the European cooperation on pupils, teachers and institutions.

We expect the students to develop the key-competences for lifelong learning. Students, teachers and institutions are expected to become aware of the importance of intercultural dialogue and to find how to foster inclusion.

8. Envisaged results / products ( encourage jointly produced end products ).

The results / products of our project will be the following:
- a Europen blog ( an updatable dynamic product );
- Comenius Project School links;
- Digital printable products.

9. Communication strategies and methods:

Methods - communication and cooperation will be supported by means of multimedia tools;- the use of CLIL ( Content and Language Integrated Learning ) will help teaching the students to create a blog.
Strategies - students will work in teams and then discuss with teachers about gathered information and agree upon what should be published on the blog.

10. Roles and responsibilities of each member of the partnership.

The involved institutions will contribute to the creation and development of the blog and gather information for it. Each partner will be responsible for maintaining dialogue with other partners. The coordinator will be responsible for meeting the project deadlines and for the individual steps of the project being supported by the partner institutions.

11. Integration into the curriculum / ongoing activities of the schools involved.

The project will develop the key – competences for lifelong learning, in particular, the development of communication competences in English, digital competence, social and civic competences and cultural awareness and expression within the curricular classes.

12. Evaluation strategies:

The main product of our project will constitute a continuous evaluation strategy ( the blog as an ongoing diary ). In addition to this, on one hand the project will be evaluated through:

- school discussions among students, school staff and parents;
- questionnaires for students, school staff, parents and local representatives;
- international peer-to-peer feedback.

On the other hand, the students’ involvement in the project will be assessed through:
- a regular monitoring of the blog;
- questionnaires and peer-to-peer feedback.

13. Dissemination and use of the results:

The dissemination will be accomplished with contributions to:
- the school newspaper / magazine;
- local newspapers, radio or TV channels;
- fairs and workshops;
- seminars in other schools;
- exhibitions of materials produced by the students for the project will be held for special occasions, like: Christmas, Easter and Europe day ( 9th May ).

On the other hand, the results will be shown on the websites of the institutions and it will be concluded with the organization of a School Day on intercultural dialogue.

There will be 24 mobilities, each of 4 days.
The first meeting will be just for teachers to adjust the whole project.
